An Elegant Fountain for 1821

A year ago, I posted a description of a fountain in a London shop.  This one's a little different, but equally charming.  I particularly liked the suggestion of a way to make the serpent seem to move.

Coade stone could have been used instead of marble.
I do like the idea of something en tremblant but dislike serpents.
What else culd have that sinuous quality? Flowers, fish, or even little spouts..
