Loretta & Isabella reporting,
Once in a while, we have to take a little break from blogging, tweeting, pinning, and general social-networking. We'd like to say that we're going on glorious vacations, but this time we'll be tackling edits and other book-writing-tasks - which can be every bit as daunting as this lady's catch.
See you back here next week!

The late Victorian and Edwardian interest in outdoor activities, fresh air and exercise was great for men. But apart from some young athletic women riding bikes, we don't often see women being active in the fresh air.
Therefore this is a great photo.
Amazing! Attired in a high-necked dress and waist pinching corset. Would be intrigued to see the type of shoes she wore and the boat on which she made this catch.
Thank you for this wonderful blog. Enjoy your week.
Poor fish.
