But he had endless staff on all journeys, so why would there be awkwardness in travelling with increasing literary demands? Like the General, any of us would have commanded our staff to create/buy portable book cases and portable, miniaturised books.<br /><br />I have also seen photos of the travel-sized library that once belonged to Prince Charles, later King Charles I.
